Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care (TECEC)
Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care (TECEC) is a grassroots organization dedicated to addressing developmental delays in young children from low-income families in Tanzania. We empower parents, caregivers, and preschool teachers by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to provide holistic, play-based childcare during the critical early years of a child’s development. Through innovative initiatives such as transforming public preschools into play-based environments, establishing community Play Hubs, and implementing health and nutrition programs, we are making a measurable impact on early childhood development.
