The SHM Foundation

The SHM Foundation is a niche forward-looking philanthropic organisation that works globally to bring about positive social change in the areas of education & livelihoods; mental health & wellbeing; and access to the arts. Our mission is to support people and communities in developing solutions to the challenges that they face, in the ways that work for them. We support people, communities, and organisations to improve their mental health and wellbeing; gain new skills, knowledge, and employment opportunities; and access excellent artistic experiences that enrich their lives. We design and implement our own initiatives, conduct participatory research, and provide grants to other organisations and projects. As a small foundation, we fund our own initiatives and also seek funds in partnerships with other organisations.
