VOICE 4 Girls

VOICE 4 Girls believes that when adolescent girls are given knowledge, skills and agency about their bodies, their rights, and their futures they take charge of their lives and define their futures. They also widen the circle by sharing this information to other girls in their communities. VOICE's feminist leadership curriculum has reached out to more than 250,000 adolescent girls, adolescent boys and young women. In addition, VOICE has worked closely with government departments like Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, KGBVs, Government Zilla Parishad Day Schools and any agency that can mobilise adolescents to come for VOICE Programs. We have further innovated by creating a ripple effect if change; we train young colleges students to become program trainers and they in turn go to schools to conduct the programs. This has resulted in VOICE engaging more than 5000 young college students.
