WASHNet Sierra Leone
At WASH-Net, our mission is to catalyze the transformation of Sierra Leone by championing equitable access to safe water, improved sanitation, and hygiene as fundamental human rights. We are dedicated to empowering poor and marginalized communities, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive. Through strategic partnerships and advocacy efforts, we engage with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of essential services to all segments of society. By striving for expanded access to WASH services for everyone, particularly among the poorest and most vulnerable groups, we seek to eliminate the health burden resulting from unclean water and poor sanitation. WASH-Net’s approach is to expand access to WASH services for populations underserved, enhance and facilitate a multi-stakeholder process across the sector, engender and promote knowledge, identify opportunities for intervention and foster learning and joint action capable of triggering overall sector transformation.
