WATOTO VISION ON AFRICA (WVA)
Watoto Vision on Africa is A Rwanda based local NGO which was founded in 2013 with the main focus of elevating the lives of the vulnerable groups like teen mother who give birth to children who end up being disadvantaged because of missing better education, primary and advanced health care and other basic needs. So we had to ensure that these single mothers would be empowered with some entrepreneurship skills so that they would generate some finances to take care of their children. Teach them some knowledge on civic engagement, public health, democracy and on human rights.

Vision
WATOTO VISION ON AFRICA is a society where children, youth and their communities are empowered and enjoy their Rights.
Mission
Promoting sustainable development and well being of children, youth and their communities; and human rights.through environmentally sound interventions while focusing on equity, good governance, justice, democracy .
Objectives
1. Increase ability of individuals with disabilities to advocate for themselves and understand self-determination.
2. Increase access to education for children and youth from poor and vulnerable groups while strengthening the quality and capacity of teachers, teaching/learning environment and institutional structures.
3. Reduce malnutrition and food insecurity that cause irreparable damage to livelihoods, thereby reducing self-sufficiency through introducing sustainable food security and livelihoods improvement initiatives.
4. Increased sustainable access to safe water and sanitation services for men, women and children in rural and peri-urban.
5. To enhance education and skills training access to youth to promote employment opportunities.
6. Enhance peace building, Justice, human rights and democracy promotion.
7. Climate change mitigation and adoption
8. Promote and advocate for gender sensitive approaches to enhance Youth’s rights and girl-child education and strengthen the participation and involvement of young women and vulnerable groups in programs and organization.
9. Improve the protection of and respect for the human rights and dignity of vulnerable populations – with a special focus on IDPs, women, children and marginalized groups – through effective advocacy and the application of a rights-based approach across all sectors;
10. Work with local communities and encourage management practices that conserve local natural resources.
