Youth Impact envisions a future where youths, children, women, and persons with disabilities are independent, resilient, and actively engaged in their communities. In order to support the realization of our mission, Youth Impact has adopted a set of required values that are practiced by our staff and stakeholders at all times. These values include: Mutual Partnerships: We value contributions of the stakeholders and people we work with for their success is our success. Excellence: We commit to work beyond expectations, try new ways of doing things, and improving every day. Respect for Human Rights: We commit to treating every person with dignity and will not discriminate against any person on the basis of sex and any other status. Integrity: We uphold the highest ethical standards. Transparency and Accountability: We always remain answerable to our stakeholders and open in everything we do. Youth Impact focuses on the following key strategic themes: Early Childhood Development: We work to improve learning outcomes for children aged 0- 8 years. Access to SRHR and HIV/AIDS Services: We aim to improve access to SRHR and HIV and AIDS services. Gender-Based Violence case management and referrals: We work to reduce gender-based violence. Human Rights Violations: We advocate for the protection of human rights. Climate Change, Integrated Agriculture, and Livelihood: We aim to improve agricultural risk management. To achieve our mission, Youth Impact has identified the following strategic objectives: Improved learning outcomes for children aged 0-8 years: We aim to improve the learning outcomes of children in the targeted age group through our early childhood development programs. Improved access to SRHR and HIV and AIDS Services: We aim to increase access to SRHR and HIV and AIDS services through our outreach programs and partnerships with healthcare providers. Improved dignity of youth, women, children, and persons with disabilities: We work towards improving the dignity of the targeted population groups by providing them with skills and opportunities to improve their livelihoods. Reduced gender-based violence: We work towards reducing gender-based violence by raising awareness, providing support to survivors, and advocating for policy change. Improved agricultural risk management: We aim to improve agricultural risk management by providing training and support to farmers in our target communities. IMPACT Over the years, Youth Impact has made a significant impact in the communities it serves. Some of the organization's notable accomplishments include Facilitating the formation of football and netball teams Providing SRHR services, Creating safe, enriching spaces for children and youth to learn and grow Empowering community members to advocate for themselves and their neighbors Proving Gender Based Violence case management and referrals Facilitating the construction of 4 Early Childhood Development Centers Providing psycho socio counselling Providing economic empowerment to women and adolescent girls Providing business management training to women. Youth Impact is led by a dedicated board of directors and a team of experienced staff members. The board of directors oversees the organization's strategic direction and ensures that it operates in line with its mission statement.
