Sharing the People’s Report: Comms Toolkit

6 August 2021 | The People's Report

Ways of sharing the Catalyst 2030 survey

If you are inspired to share the People’s Report survey with your networks, we have created a helpful communications toolkit to make it easier. It includes links to premade social media graphics, wording to copy and paste for emails and newsletters, social media posts and more.

If you have a relationship with journalists in your community then we are asking you to reach out to them to explain why the People’s Report is important. (See more in the toolkit about that.)

The communications kit is currently available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish and can be downloaded below:

Comms for field workers

“For those of you who are on the front line and feel you’re never heard. This message is for you”

On a call the other day, one of our members (a field worker) asked us why he should convince his beneficiaries, who live in the middle of nowhere, are a five hours drive away from the closest doctor and, in general, have very serious struggles in life, to fill in yet another survey, that will go to yet another fancy institution.

And look, we are not here to give you, or your people, more work. Or to tell you the UN is not a fancy institution. We are here because that five hour drive is not okay. And the entire world should know about it. And the entire world should fight about it.

The People’s Report aims to be the largest dataset on where the people are right now, comparing it against the SDGs frame. First of its kind, 43 languages, counting and learning. A collaborative effort and groundbreaking open-source data initiative. You are a partner and you, and your communities, own the data.
