The Campaign: A series (April – July)

To rise up to the COVID_19 challenge, Catalyst 2030, with the support of Ashoka, Echoing Green, Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and the Skoll Foundation, have launched the Catalysing Change campaign.This is a recuring campaign to generate partnerships for and among social innovators. It takes place on a recurring basis. The sessions are structured according to three themes which are aligned with the campaign’s objectives. Each theme builds on the other, and will conclude with a sharing of recommendations to the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.

The first edition of the campaign was held on April 30th & May 1st 2020 and featured 34 sessions with 73 speakers. Even though it was the first run, the campaign reached a large audience on social media with 150,000 people reached. Session hosts reported an increase in fundraising, partnerships and awareness for their organisation.

The next dates are: May 26th & 27th, June 17th & 18th  and July 1st & 2nd.

Who can host a session?
To host a session, you must be a Catalyst2030 member. If you are not yet a member, please request membership through this link:

Please note that due to high demand, and limited number of spots, we cannot guarantee that all session requests can be included in this edition of the campaign and may have to be in July.

What happens after I submit my request?
The Catalyst 2030 team will review your submission and will check if there is availability for your proposed time slot. We will be in touch with you to coordinate. Please note that priority will be given to those who have not previously held sessions. As there are 24 session slots available, it will then be at a first-come-first serve basis.

How long are the sessions?
Sessions duration is 45 – 60 mins. For sessions with more than 3 speakers, this can be extended to 90 mins.

What online platform is used for the sessions?
The sessions are held on Zoom. The Catalyst 2030 team will provide the zoom link.

What support do I get from the Catalyst 2030 team?
A member of the Catalyst 2030 team will
• Conduct a session briefing with you
• Serve as technical support/administrator during the Zoom call
• Support with social media promotion wherever possible

How do I promote the session?
To ensure that as many people as possible attend your session, we encourage you to promote it as much as you can. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage the global nature of this campaign to gain attention from current and potential partners. We recommend for you to
• Share about your session, and the campaign to your network
• Targeted potential partners and invite them to attend your session
• Invite the press to hear your story

From our side, we will support with cross-promotion as much as possible.
