Educate2030 Catalyst 2030 Member Story

SDG 4 Quality Education

Based in Nigeria, Educate 2030 is helping to build a world where all children can access quality education, no matter their economic background. It identifies schools and learners who are not enjoying the same standard of education as others, due to economic hardship, and helps to support them in their academic pursuits.

Social entrepreneurs are known for finding solutions for society’s problems. What is the problem that you are addressing, and what is your solution?

There is an increasing rate of school drop-outs and illiteracy in Nigeria due to lack of enthusiasm, poor quality teaching and financial constraints. Educate 2030 supports children and teenagers to reach their full academic potential by providing literacy materials, provides small grants to underprivileged students, trains them on soft and digital skills, and trains teachers in remote communities on modern ways to impact learning.
