This session invited participants to imagine a shared digital infrastructure which enables participation, eases the flow of information and knowledge across social enterprises and other key stakeholders, while keeping the community at the centre.
Developing Infrastructure for Systems Change Finance: Four Illustrations (2020 Skoll World Forum Recording)
This session presented examples of those developing the infrastructure for large-scale systems change financing (e.g. a Systems Change Financiers network; a new stock exchange opening this year in Scotland with a social finance focus; a new approach to an investment fund; and a new insurance product aimed at preventing forest fires).
This session covered some of the challenges in applying technology effectively, including five very common and very bad ideas for tech.
This session showcased how the World Toilet Organisation put the neglected taboo of Shit on the media centerstage and triggered a global movement beyond its own capacity.
