As societies, we need better ways to solve complex problems. Taiwan has developed new tools that could help: they facilitate debates among thousands of citizens to come up with policies for contentious issues; they adopt proven social innovations in government programs; and they encourage the administration to experiment and be entrepreneurial for the good of all. In this fireside chat, we learn more about these civic innovations, and what governments can do to adopt them.
