Civil unrest and the fight for social, economic, and environmental justice is not new to social entrepreneurs. What we have seen across the world in 2021 despite the backdrop of the global pandemic, is the fragility of the institutions and values that make up our societies. This event will draw on the situations including in Myanmar, the USA and India. We will explore how members are working to safeguard the foundations of healthy societies; advocating for fundamental rights; the rule of law, the right to protest and freedom of expression in these countries respectively.
This session will shed light on the complex challenges that are currently being experienced in these and other countries and provide an opportunity for members to learn more and explore ways that they may show solidarity.
