Registration has opened for the $250 million Yield Giving Open Call launched on 21 March with the aim of resourcing and supporting organisations working in communities where there is the greatest need, in the United States and US Territories: Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa.
This initiative is aimed at community-led, community-focused organisations working to improve the lives of resource-poor individuals and families and groups that have faced systemic exclusion.
The Yield Giving Open Call, an initiative of Yield Giving managed by Lever for Change, is aimed at organisations with an annual operating budget of at least $1 million and no more than $5 million for at least two of the last four fiscal years.
The names of the 250 successful awardees will be announced in early 2024. Each awardee will receive an unrestricted operating gift of $1 million.
Organisations wishing to apply, must register before 4 pm CET on 5 May 2023 and completed applications must be submitted before 4 pm CET on 12 June 2023.
