As Catalyst 2030 we are devastated by the loss of life and the ongoing conflicts currently unfolding in different parts of the world. These conflicts pose a significant risk of escalating and it is heart-wrenching to witness them.
Some of these conflicts get a lot of media attention, while many others go unnoticed.
Catalyst 2030 is a global movement with members in more than 128 countries. Any instance of war, violent conflict, terrorism, genocide, or persecution of people serves as a stark reminder of the need for action in all such atrocities. As social innovators, we are a committed, empathic community that stands in solidarity with humanitarian values during these challenging times.
Wherever we witness them, we at Catalyst 2030 stand against violence, against genocide, against hate. We are dedicated to promoting just and lasting peace, upholding human dignity, fostering creativity and encouraging collaboration.
As a member-led community, we strongly emphasise understanding through the lenses of those we know personally – our members.
United by compassion, a solutions-focused mindset and an unwavering commitment to meaningful action, we must amplify our words with love, kindness and wisdom to truly make a difference. We encourage all to be present for those who need our assistance. We invite everyone to go beyond mainstream media summaries and engage with our members, including our regional chapters, such as the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Chapter, and country chapters, like the Ukraine Chapter.
To facilitate a deeper understanding and foster impactful change, Catalyst 2030 will be launching listening circles. These circles will serve as safe spaces for our members to share their personal experiences, allowing for constructive dialogue, truth-seeking, grieving and authentic, empathic conversations.
Our hope lies in the belief that humanity’s ability to confront its darkest moments with its brightest qualities—communication, imagination, and collaborative efforts—will always prevail. Through the collective strengths of Catalyst 2030 members, we must work tirelessly towards achieving everlasting peace, even in the face of impossible odds.
