The people! Social entrepreneurship communities are wonderful, having accomplished incredible impact both in your own local communities and globally – positively affecting the lives of others. There is not a week that goes by that we do not meet new social innovators that I had been teaching about for the last 20 years at university – wow I am learning from them first hand. Addressing long-term systemic challenges to address the SDGs is a tough challenge. By harnessing the collective knowledge of members and collaborating, we can co-create a new future that is more equitable and just.

I am motivated to become part of Catalyst 2030 because I see a lot of inequality in the world, in my workplace, in my country of origin, country of work and country of residence. I believe that involving men in advancing women's cause is the best solution to inclusion, equity and diversity. As the Executive Director of Arise From Ashes, I am one of those on my team who advocate for the protection and empowerment of the less privileged, the marginalized - our first project was a tailoring and fashion design school for women in an underpriveleged community in Liberia. Since then, we created an agro-ecology farm where we have already integrated 26 Rural Women as beneficiaries. We also offered land to a High School where 60 students (male and female) will practice agro-ecology. I am also the Chairperson of the Liberian Women Empowerment Network in Europe. In collaboration with Arise From Ashes, we began a program for 20 young women to attend a vocational training center where they are now learning different skills that will lead them to independence: catering, graphic design, computer science, hotel management, cosmetology and auto-mechanic. I find Catalyst to be the best place because it provides network opportunities - it is only when we join forces that we can achieve the 2030 SDGs on diversity, equity and inclusion. I look forward to working with other NGOs in Catalyst to make this happen. Thank you for this beautiful concept.

The surge of infectious diseases in Nigeria, Africa, and other countries in the world continues to occur due to Research, Data, biotechnological, and health policy recommendations weak to tackle these challenges that cause a huge threat to most communities, especially in West African communities like Nigeria where disease outbreaks are more occurrences thousands of lives are often lost every day this membership grants me opportunities to learn from and collaborate with diverse International stakeholders and experts in the global health industry to connect, and gain a better understanding of critical interventions needed to address these challenges, by putting an end to the excruciating health decay caused by the infectious diseases.
