Parenting and social entrepreneurship

06 May 2024 | 15:00 - 16:00
(Policy) Roundtable discussion

As social entrepreneurship becomes a long term professional commitment, so more and more are entering the field at an age where they have families, go on maternity/paternity leave, and raise children in the context of the life of a social entrepreneur. Four co-founders from across the world have come together to initiate a collaboration on parenting and SE. Indeed, the very idea for this collaboration arose out of the MH Collaboration at CCW in 2023. How much to share with your children about work, how to travel with your young ones, and how to manage the health and education of your family whilst you are on the move are all issues that arise regularly. Having a family also brings into sharp focus the passion of the founder for initiating an organisation and the needs, love and affection required for healthy family life. Early discussions in the first three webinars have proved fascinating and passionate.
