How do we open the door to possibility? Could it be that our focus on goals, products and results limits what we see and what we might create/accomplish together? What if instead of thinking we need to know what to do, we embrace the unknowability of it all? What if we accept that our best hope is our scrappiness as a species, our ability to make use of whatever is at hand—–even the ugly and discouraging –to keep going?
In this session we will share how play, improvisation and philosophizing has created open-ended opportunities and new ways of being together–of welcoming aid workers at the grassroots, of uncovering/creating openings for building community and developing/re-developing projects.
Playfulness breaks through bureaucracy, unleashes imaginations, and opens doors to new possibilities. See how this approach can work for you, your organization, communities and projects.
