Tell Your Story, Build Your Brand

Your social enterprise… what do you want it to be famous for? How do you tell a story that is clear & compelling? How do you build a brand that is meaningful & memorable?

Too often social innovators focus on their vision and desired impact but fail tell the story of why these matter in the first place. Put another way, they end up with a great ‘product’ that is let down by poor ‘packaging’.

This session aims to help ambitious leaders of growing social enterprises to:
(i) Understand the power of building a brand
(ii) Uncover the story of their social enterprise

The end result? Leaders equipped to tell the story of their brand in a way persuades funders, staff and beneficiaries to get on board.

This session will be delivered by Dave Vann, Managing Director of said & done – a communications consultancy for purpose-minded organisations. This first half of the session will provide an overview of the principles of a ‘living brand’ followed by an introduction to The StoryBrand Framework. The second half of the session provides an opportunity for leaders to craft the story for their brand and have this reviewed by Dave Vann as part of the session.
