More than 60 Sri Lanka Chapter members gathered late in March to discuss a roadmap to the SDGs under the banner: Choose, Communicate and Collaborate. Prioritising people and planet in their daily lives and work, members are focusing on wellbeing, nature, relationships, caregiving, creativity and civic engagement.
Launched in December 2022, the Chapter aims to help create a new economy movement in Sri Lanka with social innovators, entrepreneurs, consumers and changemakers. They are calling on everyone to get involved to create a platform in Sri Lanka to showcase how this movement aligns with the SDGs.
The Sri Lanka Chapter also started a facebook page to communicate practical and personal actions to inspire and encourage others to make the transition to the new economy.
The Sri Lanka Chapter looks forward to coordinating campaigns, new initiatives and policy action around issues of common concern.
