Vacancy: Media internship – Systems Change

8 April 2024 | Careers

Would you like to be part of a global movement of changemakers?

Catalyst 2030 is seeking a Media and Digital Journalism intern with a focus on systems change.

Launched at the World Economic Forum in January 2020, Catalyst 2030 is a global community of social entrepreneurs, funders and other social change innovators who believe collaborative action and bold, new strategies are needed to address the crises of our time.

Joining forces with communities, governments, businesses, funders and others, Catalyst 2030 members are working toward changing systems at all levels. Cumulatively, members have already impacted the lives of millions, often with limited resources. Together, we envision the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for all.

How can you help change the world?

Our Chief Facilitator at Catalyst 2030 is looking for an intern to assist her in helping her develop and share vision on the next steps of financial systems change.

We are looking for a student or graduate to take the concepts developed by our Chief Facilitator, Jeroo Billimoria and translate them to a blog and create social media to reach as many people as possible. You must have good English writing skills and an ambition to change the world for the better.

Jeroo Billimoria has challenged systems and changed the world for children, youth and adults alike. Her determination to make financial education accessible for children around the globe, helping millions of children and young people to set up savings accounts and take charge of their right to not live in poverty has changed the lives of many. Aflatoun, Child and Youth Finance International, Catalyst 2030, are just a number of organisations she has (co) founded to make collaborative systems change happen in the world of finance. Global money week, now run by OECD, is her most famed campaign in this area.

Can you help Jeroo make the next changes? Will you be the next change maker? Join us!
